We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy logistics center in Los Angeles, California. This role is crucial for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials. Safety is our top priority, and we expect all operators to strictly adhere to all safety regulations and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will have a proven history of safe operation, excellent maneuvering skills, and a solid understanding of warehouse logistics. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Stack and store goods in designated areas, maintaining order and accessibility.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards immediately.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including traffic rules within the facility.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as required.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting tasks, up to 60 lbs.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Strong commitment to Safety and accident prevention.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
