Are you an experienced technician with a passion for maintaining operational efficiency? Our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility is seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to ensure the optimal functioning of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. This role is critical to our logistics success, as you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery essential to our operations. Your expertise will directly impact productivity and safety within our distribution center. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and in compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Respond to emergency repair calls to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including PPE usage.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various environmental conditions.
