We are looking for energetic and dependable individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Columbus, Ohio. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are key to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You'll work within a dynamic logistics environment, contributing to the overall success of our warehouse operations. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work quickly, and a commitment to following all safety guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using order lists or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow housekeeping standards.
- Identify and report any damaged or defective products.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily targets.
- Support various warehouse and logistics tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
