Job Summary:

Portland, Oregon is looking for a skilled Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and manage our warehouse inventory. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our stock levels, which is fundamental to our Logistics operations. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures, conducting audits, and reconciling discrepancies. A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to Safety are paramount. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory issues, contributing to the overall efficiency and profitability of the company. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and generate reports on inventory status.
  • Ensure proper organization and labeling of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain accuracy and minimize errors.
  • Identify and report any Safety hazards related to inventory storage and handling.
  • Ensure all warehouse personnel follow proper Lifting techniques.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) effectively.
  • Adhere strictly to company Safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within Logistics.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience with manual and automated data collection devices.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including occasional Lifting.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must follow all PPE guidelines.
