The typical assignments for this position include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations; facilitating legitimate trade and travel; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States; preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods, as well as smuggling illicit drugs and contraband.

• Law Enforcement: Enforce customs, immigration, aviation inspection regulations at ports-of-entry (POEs) throughout your assigned duty location(s).
• Intelligence Gathering: Determine whether certain information or activities are required reporting requirements under U.S. Code 552a or other applicable law enforcement regulation(s).
