Position Summary
The Sr. Lifecycle Management Solution Architect serves as a senior consultant and trusted advisor to enterprise clients, helping them design, optimize, and implement end-to-end managed device lifecycle strategies?across traditional end-user computing, point of sale, IOT, and carrier-enabled environments. This role is responsible for engaging directly with clients to capture requirements, identify challenges, and develop comprehensive solutions that align with MCPC's capabilities in staging & integration, supply chain logistics,?carrier services, IT asset disposition (ITAD),?IT asset management (ITAM), and digital workplace services.
Solution Architect is responsible for creating and managing pricing models, developing operational workflows, crafting client proposals, and preparing responses to RFPs. The position demands a combination of technical expertise, business process and supply chain insight, and hands-on experience with connected and mobile device environments. Additionally, a solid understanding of IT service management workflows and strong client engagement abilities are essential to deliver solutions that streamline operations, lower costs, and elevate the overall end-user technology experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Solution Design
Lead discovery sessions with enterprise clients to capture business, technical, and operational requirements. Analyze client challenges and design comprehensive IT lifecycle management solutions, spanning procurement, staging, integration, logistics, triage/repair, ITAD, and digital workplace services. As part of this process, the solution architect will work to understand the client's IT service management workflows, assess IT asset management maturity, and evaluate the client's emphasis on enhancing the digital employee experience. Develop and deliver client-facing presentations, proposals, and demonstrations that clearly articulate MCPC's value. Function as a subject matter expert on managed device lifecycle services-including Microsoft, Apple, and Google ecosystems-with comprehensive knowledge of tier 1 and tier 2 OEMs (Dell, HP, and Lenovo).
Solution Development & Pricing
Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing models, and solution documentation using standardized MCPC tools (CPQ, pricing templates, workflow design tools). Engineer workflows and process maps that define how solutions will be executed operationally. Ensure all solutions meet profitability, scalability, and compliance standards. Proposal & RFP Support
Collaborate with Sales, Client Success, and Operations to develop RFP responses and proposals. Write solution narratives, design diagrams, and supporting documentation for client bids. Ensure proposals highlight MCPC's differentiators, service levels, and sustainability commitments. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations leaders to validate solution feasibility and align delivery resources. Collaborate with distribution and OEM partners to build solutions that leverage MCPC's vendor ecosystem. Support Client Success teams in strategic account planning by providing subject matter expertise and innovation roadmaps. Thought Leadership & Innovation
Stay current with industry trends in IT lifecycle services, supply chain optimization, and ITAD sustainability practices. Contribute to MCPC's knowledge base through whitepapers, blogs, or client case studies. Introduce innovative ideas that improve operational workflows, reduce client costs, and enhance employee experience. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or related field. 8+ years of consulting, solution architecture, or lifecycle management experience, preferably in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of device provisioning, mobile device management, IT asset management, and logistics processes. Demonstrated ability to design solutions, develop pricing models, and produce client deliverables (SOWs, proposals, RFP responses). Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executives and technical teams alike. Familiarity with ERP and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, or PMP certification. Experience with IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), sustainability reporting, and buy-back programs. Experience working with OEMs and distribution partners. Prior experience of responding to large enterprise RFPs or leading consulting engagements.
