Role Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Machinist- Entry Level is one with limited experience but eagerness to learn in manual and CNC lathes, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in producing exceptional components.
This role is part of the Production/Manufacturing Team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, located in our Mentor, Ohio office. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Including, but not limited to these functionalities:
- Perform set up on manual lathes and CNC lathes
- Verifies conformance of finished work piece(s) to specifications using various measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints to ensure accurate production
- Loads and unloads parts, operating multiple machines as needed
- Stays on task and ensures current day scheduled work is completed on time
- Maintains an organized, safe, and clean work area
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)
- CSI
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED ; Technical Program Certification is preferred.
- Experience:
o 1-2 years of experience of manual machine on a lathe and CNC lathes required.
o 1-2 years' experience setting up manual machines, preferred.
o Familiar with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
o Familiar with reading blueprints and
o Familiar with ProtoTRAK (preferred)
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in project management and process improvement.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Requires working closely with production and engineering teams on-site.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this role is $21.00-$23.00 per hour.
