Client Notes:

Salary range is commensurate with experience. This is not a chief estimator position and they will be reporting to our chief estimator, but the candidate should be a self-starter as he will be "on an island" in a separate office trying to grow the department/area.

Start date can be as early as immediate

Absolutely positively NO remote candidates. Need to be in the office and sometimes calling on clients directly l, going to scope out meetings and things of that nature.

Mechanical Estimator

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Estimator, located in Deer Park, NY. The Mechanical Estimator will evaluate project specifications and drawings to accurately analyze costs and develop detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems. The job involves sourcing and analysing vendor and subcontractor pricing, reviewing project requirements, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and project management teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing cost estimates and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
• Familiarity with Building Connected
• Excellent communication skills & attention to detail
• Relevant work experience is preferred - mechanical estimating or a similar field

Pay: $75, $100,000.00 per year
