Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our growing warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently shipping and receiving, managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, safety protocols, and materials handling to ensure smooth order fulfillment and shipping & receiving processes.
Duties
- Determine the method of shipment and prepare bills, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Assemble skids and crates, pack goods to be shipped, and follow special shipping instructions for key customers.
- Quoting and shipping using the UPS courier system and other Carrier's web portals.
- Working daily using our ERP system AX or D365
- Operate the forklift with a side shift loading and unloading lengthy goods.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject or quarantine damaged goods.
- Unpack and route goods to appropriate locations using hand scanner devices.
- Maintain accurate inventory on the systems by doing regular cycle counts.
- Understand and apply health and safety procedures for the warehouse environment and keep clean work area.
- Carry out any other duties when required in the warehouse like rearranging shelves and locations for future products or new collections.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or related fields
- Experience using ERP systems such as AX or D365.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, stock management, and order picking procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling and heavy equipment operation
- Strong computer skills in MS Office.
- Experience with RF-picking devices
- Experience with metric & imperial measurement
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have forklift experience and license with a side shift as a preference.
- Diligent and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Interpersonal soft skills to work well within a team environment.
- Good physical strength and stamina lifting to 50lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to pass background check.
This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized warehouse environment while developing skills in logistics, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management.
Schedule:
- Day Shift
- Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 5 pm
- Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Pay: $ $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39.5 per week
