Restaurant Host/Hostess

Golestan is a casual fine-dining restaurant seeking polished, organized, and guest-focused Hosts/Hostesses to serve as both the first and last point of contact for our guests.

This role is essential to delivering a seamless, well-paced dining experience and requires professionalism, warmth, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage reservations and waitlists accurately using Resy
• Coordinate table seating to support proper flow and service timing
• Monitor the dining room and anticipate guest needs
• Thank and bid farewell to guests upon departure, ensuring a positive final impression
• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand
• Uphold Golestan's hospitality standards and steps of service

Requirements

• Prior hosting or restaurant experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to learn and use Resy proficiently
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Polished, professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude and friendly, smiling demeanor
