Overview
The newly renovated Stanley Chocolate Shops in Estes Park, CO is seeking a motivated and experienced Barista Shift Leader to join our vibrant café team. This leadership role combines hands-on coffee and food service with team supervision, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. As a key team member, you will support daily functions, mentor staff, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise shift operations to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, food items, and snacks in accordance with company standards
  • Manage cash handling, POS transactions using Spot On POS systems, and perform cashiering duties accurately
  • Oversee food safety protocols and ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
  • Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and ordering supplies as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Train new team members on food preparation, POS systems, serving procedures, and safety standards
  • Support team members during busy periods to maintain productivity and morale
  • Uphold café policies related to food handling, safety regulations, and retail operations

Skills

  • Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
  • Previous food service or café experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in POS systems such as Spot On; cash handling skills essential
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with customers
  • Leadership qualities including team supervision, training, and motivation skills
  • Basic math skills for sales calculations, retail math, and cash register operations
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
