Electrical Technician

ASD Lighting Corp is a rapidly growing lighting manufacturing company, and we are looking for an individual to be part of this exciting growth. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with excellent communication skills to assist in enhancing our warehouse. RMA Technician:

· Perform functional test of company's board and system level products

· Test and troubleshoot fixtures failures as required

· Work directly with engineers on all testing

· Provide detailed symptom descriptions for failures uncovered during functional test to assist in component-level troubleshooting.

· Follow all applicable work instructions from engineering to perform testing processes.

· Take initiative to identify problems and their root causes

· Discuss problems encountered while testing/troubleshooting with supervisor and engineering staff and recommend solutions to improve work efficiency.

· Escalate product and process issues to management and help with problem resolution.

· Follow all corporate, safety and production procedures and regulations and maintains a clean and orderly workstation. Assures that his/her group adheres to the company standards and regulations

Work Hours:

11:30 AM to 8:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30-40 per week Part-time/Full-time

Education:

· Minimum of a High school diploma or GED required, Associates or Technical School degree is preferred

Experience:

· Electronic device troubleshooting experience is desirable

· Basic understanding of lighting fixtures is a plus

· Experience working with process improvement and problem solving methodologies is a plus

• Houston, TX Required)
