Authority Brands is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Senior FP&A Analyst to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this individual will play a critical role in supporting data analysis, reporting, and analytics across our Outdoor Brands segment including five franchise brands. This role provides exposure to various teams and leaders, and suits candidates with strong financial acumen, experience handling large datasets, advanced Excel and modeling abilities, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial models.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages, variance analyses, and performance dashboards.
• Monitor KPIs and identify trends to support margin improvement and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and business unit leaders to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing board decks, investor presentations, and executive-level financial summaries.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation efforts in reporting and forecasting using tools such as Excel, NetSuite, and BI platforms.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting support for business leaders, including assistance with strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, strategy, financial reporting, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working with large datasets and financial systems (e.g., PowerBI, NetSuite, Hyperion, or similar) from multiple sources, or willingness to learn
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and an eagerness to learn in a multi-brand environment with shifting priorities
• Franchising industry experience preferred
