Job Summary

Duties

• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to ensure safety and security protocols are followed
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies using established conflict management procedures
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and personnel entering the premises, ensuring proper authorization is obtained
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing behaviors that may indicate theft or vandalism
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary until emergency services arrive
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring legal intervention
• Maintain detailed incident reports and shift logs accurately documenting all activities and observations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields demonstrating strong discipline and situational awareness
• Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management techniques, and emergency response procedures
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining professionalism
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members, law enforcement, and the public
• Physical fitness to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly when needed
