High School Physics Teacher

Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive physics curricula aligned with educational standards and tailored to diverse student needs.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons incorporating modern learning technology to enhance understanding of concepts such as mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and modern physics.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, dissection activities, and research projects to provide hands-on learning experiences in areas like biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, and cell biology.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing, quizzes, projects, and presentations; provide constructive feedback to support growth.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive environment conducive to active participation and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student performance, attendance, and laboratory safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field; advanced degrees or higher education teaching experience are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex scientific ideas to students of varying abilities.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with behavior management strategies to create an inclusive learning environment.

Pay: $ $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 12.0 per week
