The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:
This position is for a commodity role on the Electronics Commodity team. This role will support both the Distribution and Embedded sub-categories. Responsibilities will be to develop an overall strategy for the relevant categories, partnering with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs/strategy, aligning with key suppliers, and sending quotes/completing contract negotiations to execute strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develops a strategic plan for a commodity and supply base
Collaborates with multiple business units to execute Supply Chain strategies
Owns and responsible for relationship with multiple strategic suppliers
Evaluates and selects supplier alignment based on price competitiveness, capability, quality, reliability (TCO)
Analyzes data and information to determine reasonable prices.
Negotiates and executes long term agreements with supply base that aligns with commodity strategy and internal stakeholders needs
Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature
Works with limited oversight from leadership
Manages several projects at one time with a variety of complexity
Clearly communicate commodity or project status to leadership
Ability to identify and pursue VA/VE opportunities through collaboration with internal stakeholders
Lead change management or work
