RISING LEADER WANTED
Location: Queens, NY
Compensation: Starting from $50,000 base + performance bonus
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Flexible. Day, evening, weekend availability required.
KidStrong is on a mission to help kids win at life. We empower children to become strong, confident, and resilient through a science-backed training program that blends physical, mental, and character development. Our centers thrive on energy, teamwork, and results.
This Head Coach role is for someone who can command a room, coach with high standards, and develop other coaches into pros. You will coach a full schedule, run the coaching system, and make the floor feel organized, fun, and intentional every hour of the day.
If you love high tempo coaching, direct feedback, and tightening chaos into structure, keep reading. If you need calm environments, avoid correcting teammates, or think "good energy" replaces standards, we may not be a good fit for you.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF
You want a job where you coach and go home.
You do not like giving feedback, enforcing standards, or holding the line.
Kids being loud, unpredictable, and emotional drains you.
You blame the room when the room feels sloppy.
You think safety and structure are optional when it gets busy.
You cringe at "Average Sucks."
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Coaching Excellence
- Coach a full-time schedule with consistent energy and control.
- Deliver safe, structured, fun classes with clean progressions and regressions.
- Own class flow: transitions, station readiness, pacing, and engagement.
Coach Development
- Train, evaluate, and improve part-time coaches weekly.
- Run onboarding, shadow shifts, and skill checkoffs.
- Give direct feedback that improves behavior, not vibes.
Parent and Kid Experience
- Build trust fast with parents through confidence, clarity, and ownership.
- Learn names, connect with families, and create "my kid is seen here" moments daily.
- Handle concerns with calm leadership and fast resolution.
Floor and Standards Execution
- Set the standard for cleanliness, setup, safety, and professionalism.
- Fix issues on sight. No waiting for the GM.
- Partner with GM and AGM to keep the center running sharp.
