**Project Scope

We are seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to assist our client on a Contract/Contract to Hire or Permanent basis.

**Position Summary

The Sr. Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the health system's network and data center virtual infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity for clinical and business operations. This position supports data centers, virtualized infrastructure, wired and wireless networks, firewalls, and remote access solutions across all campuses.

**Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic expertise in network infrastructure, ensuring scalability, redundancy, and security to support 24/7 patient care operations.
• Lead network and data center architecture design, implementation, and maintenance for LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, virtualization, and storage networking across multiple data centers and campuses.
• Develop and maintain network and virtualization policies, standards, and procedures for operational excellence.
• Large scale project leadership

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on networking experience
• Strong in LAN/WAN design, implementation and skilled with firewalls, monitoring tools, and full infrastructure builds
• Preferred experience with Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco; Dell/HP/IBM servers; Juniper/Cisco/Meraki switching
• MSP experience handling urgent issues and high-volume environments
• Highly detail-oriented; disciplined background
• Exceptional troubleshooting experience

Preferred Certifications
NSE4, CCNA, CCNA CyberOps, JNCIA, Citrix CCA-V, Microsoft MCP
