Job Summary: This position focuses on community outreach and developing relationships with churches and referral sources that result in increased residential living occupancy. Marketing efforts will be centered in Enid and extending to the surrounding 50-mile radius. Must be able to work independently and relate to individuals within our resident demographic about the housing and services offered. Also, proficient in speaking to groups, providing information and promoting the village as a lifestyle community. As a representative of Baptist Village Communities (BVC), this individual must exemplify our mission – "Enhancing Lives by serving God, Serving You, Serving Together".
Responsibilities:
- Develop a weekly schedule of outreach opportunities and marketing focus- reporting the schedule to the Campus Director.
- Regular networking and outreach to churches, senior groups, service organizations and other potential referral sources.
- Prepare reports as directed by the Campus Director.
- Attend regular meetings as directed by the Campus Director.
- Coordinate and participate in tours for prospective residents, open houses, marketing events, etc. with Resident Services.
- Know the responsibilities of the Resident Services Coordinator as outlined below so that in the absence of the Resident Services Coordinator, scheduled move-ins will not be delayed or disrupted.
- Provide tours of the campus and living units to potential residents and their family members.
- Prepare, facilitate and follow-up on rental agreements and other related occupancy documents.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate pre-admission assessments of prospective residents as appropriate.
- Process applications for residency by conducting criminal background checks and reference checks as required.
- Assist in monitoring residents' ongoing ability to qualify for residency in residential living. Meet with residents and families to coordinate moves to other service lines on campus, as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Campus Director.
Qualifications:
- Great communication, relational and people skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented work ethic.
- Values teamwork and positive work relationships.
- Organized with proficient computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and adequate transportation to support daily community outreach efforts within 50 miles of the village.
