You'll be responsible for safely transporting goods, assembling and setting up furniture, and providing exceptional customer service every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver products to customers across designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and follow route schedules efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Assist in warehouse organization, including inventory management, stock rotation, and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize routes, improve processes, and ensure timely completion of all deliveries.
• Assembling Furniture of all kinds.
• Stocking the showroom.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, moving heavy items, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of route driving best practices and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading tasks.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred; valid driver's license required.
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is a plus; certification is advantageous. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Work Location: In person
