Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant

We are seeking a PASSIONATE and skilled Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility. This position requires a blend of clinical and people skills to assist healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient service. We are completely non-pharmaceutical, completely herbal care.

NOTE: We are here to BUILD and heal people, not to tear them down, nor unload our problems onto them.

Our job is to find what other providers miss while speaking life into those whom we are serving. We exist to provide solutions, from 'typical' daily health issues to deep detoxing, to chronic health conditions, to rare and hard to discover health issues. We are not here to tell them how bad our day is, but to lift them up within their own battles.

Duties

• Perform specimen collection and processing, ensuring proper handling and labeling of samples.
• Assist with various laboratory procedures and techniques, including blood sampling and other diagnostic tests.
• Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique to prevent contamination during laboratory work.
• Support patient service by answering questions, providing information about procedures, and ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective communication regarding patient care plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and examination rooms.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a medical assistant role or similar position is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, laboratory techniques, and aseptic procedures.
• Familiarity with specimen collection processing and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on providing exceptional service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• The willingness to bring your medical knowledge and technique and combine that with our herbal treatments.
