Job Description: Field Operations Coordinator

Location: NY

Department: Operations

About Us:

MMPC is a leading provider of reliable and effective pest control solutions, dedicated to

protecting our community's homes and businesses. We thrive on operational excellence

and empowering our field technicians to deliver outstanding service. Join our dynamic

team as the critical link that keeps our field operations running smoothly.

The Opportunity:

Are you a master of logistical chess, able to move multiple pieces in real-time to ensure

a team succeeds? We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Field Operations

Coordinator to act as the mission control center for our field technicians. In this pivotal

role, you will ensure daily routes are executed efficiently, solve problems before they

escalate, and provide vital support to keep our entire field operation on track. This is not

a passive administrative job—it's a fast-paced, central role where your coordination

directly impacts our productivity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Real-Time Field Coordination & Support:

  • Monitor technician progress throughout the day via our work order system,

ensuring jobs are started and completed on schedule.

  • Proactively contact technicians to assist with real-time note completion, work

order closures, and route guidance.

  • Act as the first point of contact for field technicians, resolving daily issues by

communicating with Scheduling, Sales, Management, and Onsite Operations.

  • Report on schedule adherence, including lunch breaks and timesheet

irregularities.

Technician Scheduling & Availability Management:

  • Maintain and update the master technician availability spreadsheet and calendar.

  • Cross-reference the work order system with availability notes to ensure accurate

scheduling data for the entire company.
• Assist in coordinating company meetings, manager check-ins, and other

scheduling logistics.

  • Send weekly, audited reports on technician time-off and availability to

management.

Operational Reporting & Administration:

  • Update inventory tracking systems (e.g., Sortly) and follow up to ensure timely

fulfillment of technician inventory requests.

  • Maintain accurate records of operational expenses, including parking and toll

costs.

  • Fulfill urgent requests for field documents such as Certificates of Insurance (COIs)

and waivers.

  • Support the Quality Control team with closing out dated work orders as needed.

Who You Are:

You are a natural problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment. You don't

just process tasks—you anticipate needs and orchestrate solutions. You are equally

comfortable analyzing a spreadsheet, calming a frustrated technician on the

phone, and urgently tracking down a document. You take pride in being the "go-

to" person who keeps the engine running.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced operations, logistics, dispatch, or field

coordination role. (Experience in home services, delivery fleets, construction, or

similar fields is a major plus).

  • Exceptional proficiency with digital tools: Google Workspace / Microsoft Office

Suite (especially Sheets/Excel), and the ability to quickly learn new software

(e.g., work order management systems, inventory apps).

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to give clear,

concise instructions via chat, email, and phone.

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability

to prioritize and multitask under pressure.

  • Meticulous attention to detail for accurate reporting and data management.

  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in pest control, lawn care, or a similar field service industry.

  • Basic understanding of GPS routing and fleet management concepts.
    • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are highly desirable.
