Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a hospitality environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and well-maintained, providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

Duties

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
• Implement effective cleaning procedures, including floor care and industrial cleaning techniques.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules and maintenance requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Previous experience in hotel or custodial environments is preferred but not mandatory.
