Overview
As a Sales Executive at Thomson Reuters (Professional) UK Ltd, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by proactively engaging with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs, and effectively positioning our professional solutions. You will play a crucial role in the sales lifecycle, from identifying new opportunities to fostering long-term client relationships, all while delivering exceptional value. Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories and target markets, utilizing various sales and marketing tools. Conduct thorough customer needs assessments to understand client challenges and pain points, leveraging a consultative selling approach. Develop and present compelling product propositions tailored to meet specific client requirements, highlighting the value and benefits of Thomson Reuters solutions. Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to close, including pipeline management, forecasting, and negotiation. Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients through regular communication and exceptional service, fostering partnership development. Collaborate effectively with marketing teams to leverage campaigns and generate leads, and provide feedback on market trends and client insights. Continuously seek out and embrace new challenges, developing innovative strategies for opportunity creation and exceeding sales targets. Utilize sales technology and web-based platforms efficiently to track activities, manage client data, and streamline business processes. Deliver professional presentations, both virtually and in person, showcasing expertise and influencing decision-makers. About You
Proven experience in sales, preferably within a professional services or technology environment. Demonstrable expertise in consultative selling and conducting effective customer needs assessments. Strong understanding of sales processes and experience in managing a sales pipeline. Excellent professional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. A track record of success in delivering value to clients and building strong relationships. Proficiency in utilizing sales technology and web-based technology for CRM, sales enablement, and virtual meetings. Ability to adapt to new challenges and proactively identify and create new opportunities. Understanding of business processes and how technology solutions can address client requirements. Experience in marketing collaboration and leveraging marketing initiatives for sales success. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
