We are seeking a Customs and Border Protection Officer to join our team of highly trained professionals who protect America's borders. As a CBPO, you will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, safeguarding our nation's security.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations to prevent illicit activity.
- Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while ensuring national security.
Typical Assignments:
Preliminary inspections of individuals for entry into the United States include identifying potential threats using behavior analysis techniques.
The secondary inspection process includes examining conveyances such as trucks,
motor vehicles, or any other type with an enclosed trailer where appropriate detention may be initiated.
The total review encompasses all documentation presented by parties arriving via air passenger land sea routes associated within each jurisdiction having varying protocols depending upon country specific conditions where applicable: CBPOs have authority over everyone entering USA under Federal law Title 18 USC Chapter .
