This role will primarily support state payment programs for preschoolers and providers. This position follows a hybrid work schedule and is expected to work from our downtown Denver office at least two days per week.
*What we’re looking for:*
We are seeking a detail-driven Data Coordinator to support operations of our statewide payment programs, with responsibilities spanning from data management to customer support/technical assistance for payment issues. The ideal candidate is passionate about data quality and data-driven continuous improvement, while navigating complex payment eligibility and funding rules.

*Responsibilities:*
*Data Management*
· *Data Entry: *Perform data entry, importing, and updates in the payments database (SugarCRM), and maintain functions of automated/calculated fields.
· *Quality Assurance: *Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies to ensure all payment-related data is accurate and complete.
· *Reporting: *Create, update, and deliver recurring and ad hoc reports for stakeholders (i.e., payment files, budget spend-down reports, eligibility and enrollment reports, etc.).
*Payment Operations*
· *Payment Processing: *Generate provider payments in the database based on eligibility rules and internal protocols and conduct primary QC on payment batches.
· *Payment Issues: *Assist with processing and reconciling payment issues reported by providers, the client, or internally.
· *Customer Support/Technical Assistance: *Coordinate with providers, the payment team, and client for intaking and investigating payment issues; provide back-up support for additional customer service/technical assistance activities.
*Technical Implementation & Continuous Improvement*
· *Documentation: *Help create and maintain SOPs, internal and provider-facing resources.
· *Data-Driven Improvement: *Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in processes and technology.
· *Implementation: *Assist in implementation of new technical process and system projects, including continuous improvement and program expansion.
*Qualifications:*
· Bachelor’s degree required in a related field
· 3+ years of experience in data management, data/business analytics, payment operations, data quality assurance, or related fields.
· Experience performing data entry, audits, and quality control tasks.
· Comfortable providing customer service and able to effectively and clearly communicate with providers, our clients, and internal team regarding data.
· High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
· Detail-oriented, passionate about clean data, and experience working with large databases – we use SugarCRM.
· Self-motivated and proactive problem solver, but not afraid to ask questions.
Bonus points for the following experiences or skills, but these are not required!
· Experience supporting payment operations or state-funded programs.
· Experience with data analytics tools beyond Excel (e.g., Power BI, Python, R).
· Professional interest in AI for funding administration and payment distribution.

Pay Rate – $55,000-60,000 annual salary depending on experience, plus eligibility for our annual bonus compensation plan.

MetrixIQ offers a hybrid work schedule – staff work a mixed schedule of in-office and remote days. This position is expected to work in our Denver office at least two days per week.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
