Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect / Senior DevOps Engineer with strong SRE and platform engineering expertise to support and evolve a large-scale MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) environment. The role focuses on AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and platform governance, supporting 20+ clusters across multiple environments. This is a hands-on, onsite role requiring deep technical ownership of platform reliability, security, scalability, and modernization. Key Responsibilities Design, provision, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices. Deploy, operate, and scale MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) on Kubernetes (EKS). Manage and support multiple Kubernetes clusters (20+) across development, test, and production environments. Perform platform and component upgrades, including Mule 4.x (4.6), Java 21, EKS/Kubernetes, AMI updates, and Elasticsearch. Build, enhance, and modernize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, consistency, and quality. Implement cluster governance standards, including security, access control, namespace isolation, and resource quotas. Configure and manage Docker-based workloads and container registries. Support Kafka-based messaging platforms, including AWS MSK. Implement monitoring and observability solutions using ELK Stack, New Relic, and/or Sumo Logic. Manage ingress, traffic routing, and reverse proxy configurations using NGINX. Drive cost optimization initiatives by right-sizing resources and improving scaling strategies. Build and maintain self-service tools to enable development teams to deploy and manage workloads independently. Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams to standardize tooling and delivery processes. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering roles. Hands-on expertise with MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) (mandatory). Deep knowledge of AWS services, particularly EKS and supporting infrastructure. Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments. Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code methodologies. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Working knowledge of Kafka (AWS MSK preferred). Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK Stack, New Relic, or Sumo Logic. Familiarity with NGINX, ingress controllers, and networking concepts. Strong understanding of security, access control, and governance in cloud-native platforms. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large-scale enterprise platforms with multiple teams and environments. Prior experience with platform upgrades and modernization initiatives. Strong troubleshooting skills and production support mindset. Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
