Director of Practitioner Integration and Service Excellence Summary
The Practitioner Integration and Service Excellence role serves as the primary connector between newly recruited practitioners, hospital leadership, and operational teams across the three-hospital health system and its large multi-specialty physician network. This role ensures a seamless onboarding, relationship-building, and operational readiness across facilities/entities. Responsibilities include coordination of clinical resources, operating room access, space needs, and equipment planning. The incumbent partners closely with physician enterprise leadership to identify and lead opportunities to streamline system processes and improve coordination among clinical, operational, and business development teams that yield an excellent work environment for practitioners and exceptional care delivery for patients. Outcome metrics include engagement, retention, and productivity.
Director of Practitioner Integration and Service Excellence Requirements
Bachelor's degree required, Master's in Health Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations, physician services, or network integration within a multi-site health system.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and facilitate alignment across clinical, administrative, and executive stakeholders. Project Management certification highly desired.
Knowledge of hospital operations, including OR scheduling, facility planning, and ambulatory workflows.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work with physicians and executive audiences.
Adept in Lean, Performance Improvement methodologies. Six Sigma Black Belt certification highly desired.
Director of Practitioner Integration and Service Excellence Benefits
At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
