Summary
National Advisors Trust is actively seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team This position will assist with all facets of the human resources department. The ideal candidate is a detail oriented, energetic person who is a skilled multi-tasker with the ability to organize multiple priorities at one time, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness to completion. They are also a friendly, positive person who has an attitude to build relationships with all employees.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Organize, compile, & update company personnel records and documentation
- Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews.
- Screens resume & interviews candidates (by phone & virtual platforms)
- Help organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
Assists with the administration of benefit and compensation programs
Reviews bi-monthly payroll reports and assists Payroll Specialist with Payroll
- Responsible for the minutes for the quarterly Human Resources Committee Board meetings
- Organizes the employee engagement and community outreach programs
- Perform other office duties as assigned Compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC-related laws and regulations as it applies within the scope of this position, including but not limited to, prompt completion of required BSA/AML/OFAC training.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills required
- Strong Integrity with ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to learn general HRIS system
- Associate degree in HR or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred) or working towards a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Communications
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to work the days and hours required to fulfill the essential functions of the position, generally 40 hours a week, but longer hours and occasional weekends may be required.
- Constantly operate a computer during workday.
- Occasionally requires lifting objects that are 20 pounds to a height of 3-4 feet
