Über

Omnitrans is currently searching for a  Client Service Representative, International Freight to join our Client Services Team in our International Freight division in Montreal.The CSR is the official point of contact and responsible assigned clients from time of booking to final delivery of Omnitrans international freight shipments. Ensure that clients are provided with personalized and efficient service that meets Omnitrans' client experience standards. 
Responsibilities
Establish strong relationships and partnerships with clients at the ground level.
Understand and anticipate business and operational needs and react accordingly.
 Ensure that all services (from time of booking to delivery) provided meet Omnitrans standards of excellence and respect DRIVE values, including timely responses, proactive problem solving, and with a mindset to put the clients' needs first.
Monitor bookings and ensure that pre-alerts are received from agents and are processed in a timely manner.
Ensure efficient and effective communication with agents and clients to provide them with shipment information and instructions.
Overseas communications: Handle documentation requests, shipment follow up, schedules and other information, ensure shipment departure timelines are respected and provide updates if needed.
After Hours Support: check Emails, assist agents and clients with last minute bookings and changes.
Verify status of bank release and payments due; secure OBL when required.
Verify data and enter client information in the system when needed.
Communicate with clients and open files in the system.
Communicate booking confirmations / instructions to agent.
Address any client issues, challenges, or performance and service gaps with 3rd party service provider quickly and effectively.
Ensure client profiles and their specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are maintained and adhered to.
Perform other general clerical duties.
What You Bring
Completion of College or equivalent 
Relevant Expertise: minimum 3 years Freight Operations experience
Knowledge of Cargo Wise , an asset
Strong organizational and time management skills required, including the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
Thorough understanding of International Business and trading practices
Proficient computer skills required (MS Office) and can quickly learn the company software and specific programs.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify root causes and find win/win solutions
Bilingual (French & English)
