Activity Director Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that caters to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
• Plan and execute daily activities, including social events, outings, and entertainment programs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure activities align with resident care plans and goals
• Recruit and supervise volunteers to assist with activity programming
• Maintain accurate records of activity participation and program evaluation
• Foster relationships with local community organizations to enhance programming and opportunities for residents
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our care philosophy

Activity Director Requirements:

• Experience in a healthcare setting, but passion for creating engaging experiences for seniors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with activity program planning and implementation
• Certification in activity direction or related field required
