Cafe Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cafe Manager to lead daily operations in our busy cafe and casual dining environment. This role is responsible for delivering excellent guest experience, overseeing team performance, and maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cafe operations, including food service, cash handling, and customer experience
• Manage inventory, ordering, and compliance with food safety and health regulations
• Lead staff training, scheduling, and performance management
• Ensure smooth front- and back-of-house coordination during peak hours
• Operate and monitor POS systems (Toast) for accurate transactions and reporting
• Support catering, special events, and food production initiatives

Qualifications

• Management experience in a cafe, restaurant dining environment
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, barista skills, operations, and food safety standards
• Experience training and supervising a team in a hospitality setting
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory control
• Proven strong leadership skills with a team-focused mindset

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
