Auto Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles, including Newer models and those equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems.
- Align wheels and maintain proper vehicle handling characteristics.
- Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to assist in repairs.
- Conduct diesel engine repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service.
- Proficiency in working with automotive electrical systems.
- Experience with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles and their specific maintenance requirements.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is advantageous.
- Welding skills are a nice-to-have for certain repair tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
