Our work includes grading, irrigation, planting, hardscape, and site development. We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Landscape Installation Estimator to support our continued growth and commitment to high-quality project delivery.

Position Summary

The Commercial Landscape Installation Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial landscape construction and installation projects. This role is critical to winning profitable work and ensuring smooth project execution through close collaboration with operations and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial landscape installation and construction projects
• Review civil and landscape plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Conduct site visits to evaluate project scope, access, and conditions
• Perform material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor takeoffs
• Estimate work including:
• Grading and earthwork
• Irrigation systems
• Planting and soil preparation
• Hardscape (pavers, walls, concrete, site furnishings)
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Prepare and submit bid proposals and supporting documentation
• Follow up on submitted bids with clients, general contractors, and stakeholders
• Answer client questions, provide clarifications, and support negotiations as needed
• Track bid results and participate in post-bid reviews
• Maintain estimating databases, pricing libraries, and takeoff tools

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret civil and landscape plans
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience estimating commercial landscape installation or construction projects
• Experience with large-scale commercial or public works projects
• Degree in landscape construction, construction management, or related field
