About the Role

As a Sandwich / Tartine Prep Associate, you're responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches, tartines, and cold food items with speed, cleanliness, and consistency. You'll support daily production by following recipes and portion standards, maintaining food safety, and keeping your station organized and service-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches, tartines, and related ingredients according to recipes and portion standards

• prep meats, cheeses, and vegetables using knives and kitchen equipment such as induction burners, suis vide machines, robot coupe, and oven.

• Set up and break down prep stations before and after shifts

• Label, date, and store ingredients properly

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment

• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times

• Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or issues to supervisors

• Work efficiently to meet prep lists and service deadlines

• Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous food prep or kitchen experience preferred (training provided)

• Basic knife skills and ability to follow recipes

• Strong attention to detail and consistency

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
