Press Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate manual and semi-automatic presses following department guidelines.
• Validate the functionality of all safety mechanisms before commencing operations.
• Conduct initial part inspections to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
• Strive to optimize and shorten machine setup durations.
• Maintain organized arrangement of setup instruments, dies, and arbors.
• Address and resolve quality and equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Utilize metal cutting and shaping equipment, including kick presses and dial presses.
• Interpret technical documents and schematics to meet production specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to interpret technical blueprints and adhere to work instructions.
• Solid understanding of mathematical concepts and measurement techniques.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and maintaining a seated position for extended periods.

• Prior experience (1–3 months) in a manufacturing, production, or machine operation setting.
• Strong mechanical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and committed to safety protocols.
