The Marketing Coordinator will support the marketing objectives of the firm, with a strong emphasis on the "Enterprise Data Transformation Community". The primary goal of this role is to manage the community, coordinate content delivery schedules, develop the marketing pipeline, and hand qualified sales leads off to the sales team.

This hybrid role is based in northern Colorado and works from Semantic Arts' Fort Collins office on a regular basis, reporting directly to the COO.

Core Responsibilities: Own Community Programs (Roundtables, Newsletter, Symposium, Slack)

· Plan, schedule, and execute Enterprise Data Transformation roundtables: topic selection, speaker coordination, invitations, facilitation support, and follow-up.

· Own the community newsletter: maintain editorial calendar, coordinate contributors, and grow subscriber lists focused on ideal target accounts and roles.

· Coordinate the annual Enterprise Data Transformation Symposium: managing audience targeting, registration funnels, event logistics support, and post-event follow-up and segmentation.

· Manage and moderate the Slack community: onboarding new members, seeding and curating discussions, highlighting resources, and driving participation around Semantic Arts' core data-centric themes.

Content Production

· Organize existing content into reusable templates and topics

· Develop a mix of content types including visuals, infographics, and text to educate and inform marketing targets

· Track and report metrics on content engagement and adjust strategy accordingly

Sales Conversion

· Systematically identify and tag high-potential participants across programs (roundtables, newsletter, Slack, symposium) based on role, organization, engagement level, and stated business challenges.

· Convert qualified community participants into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and ensure they are entered into the CRM/marketing automation system with complete, accurate context.

· Prepare concise lead briefs capturing each qualified lead's role, organization, interests, pain points, and engagement history across community programs.

· Coordinate a consistent, feedback-driven handoff process with sales, adjusting qualification criteria and outreach playbooks based on outcomes and feedback.

· Maintain regular feedback loops with sales to refine lead quality and ensure community-generated leads convert effectively to opportunities.

Required Qualifications

· Experience in B2B marketing, community management, or event marketing with demonstrated responsibility for pipeline or lead-generation outcomes.

· Basic understanding of the marketing-to-sales funnel and comfort working directly with sales on lead criteria, qualification thresholds, and follow-up processes.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly communicative, eager to collaborate, and comfortable engaging senior data and technology leaders in a professional setting.

· Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo) and comfort building simple reports and dashboards for monthly and quarterly metrics.

· Ability to work hybrid in the Fort Collins office on a regular basis.

Helpful Qualifications

· Willingness to learn new subject areas through independent reading, research, and interactions

· Experience with professional communities or associations

· Familiarity with Slack community management

Employment Type:

Authorization:

Compensation:

This role is to be paid on an hourly basis. We expect the range to be between $30-$40 per hour based on experience and ability.
