The Sales Associate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth within the non-durable goods manufacturing sector by effectively promoting and selling our product lines to a diverse customer base. This position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with our product offerings. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, production, and logistics to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves identifying new market opportunities and contributing to strategic sales planning to expand our market presence. Ultimately, the Sales Associate will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and enhancing the company's competitive position in the industry. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and promote our non-durable goods effectively. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase features and benefits tailored to client requirements. Negotiate sales contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability goals. Collaborate with marketing and production teams to coordinate product availability, delivery schedules, and promotional activities. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities and inform product development. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance against targets and support strategic decision-making. Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in sales, preferably within the non-durable goods manufacturing or related industries. Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management, and negotiation techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse clients and internal teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts while meeting sales targets. Preferred Qualifications: Experience using CRM software and sales analytics tools to manage customer data and track sales performance. Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes related to non-durable goods. Additional training or certification in sales methodologies or customer service excellence. Multilingual abilities to support communication with a broader client base. Demonstrated success in developing new business and expanding market share. Skills: The required skills such as effective communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management are essential for daily interactions with clients and closing sales deals. The ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback helps in tailoring sales strategies and identifying new opportunities. Collaboration skills are used to coordinate with internal departments ensuring product availability and timely delivery, which directly impacts customer satisfaction. Preferred skills like CRM proficiency and knowledge of supply chain processes enhance efficiency in managing sales pipelines and order fulfillment. Multilingual capabilities and additional sales training further empower the sales associate to engage a wider audience and apply advanced techniques to exceed sales targets.
