As a Business Development Specialist at Bohler, you'll help shape the projects and partnerships that transform the Boston metro area. You'll build strong client relationships, expand market awareness, and uncover opportunities that drive growth for both our teams and the communities we serve.
About the Role
Bohler's Westborough, MA office (or, alternatively, our Boston, MA office) is seeking a Business Development Specialist who thrives on connection, collaboration, and results. You'll work closely with Business Development, Marketing, and Project Management teams to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, and position Bohler as a trusted partner across the Greater Boston Metro area.
What You'll Do
- Partner with BD and Project Management teams to coordinate outreach and follow-up
- Research potential clients, projects, and market trends to identify new opportunities
- Support proposals and presentations with the Marketing Team
- Manage contact data, leads, and activities in CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and sub-consultants
- Participate in community and industry events to promote Bohler's services
- Support pursuit strategies through research and internal coordination
- Stay current on regional development activity and industry trends

What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or client relations, with AEC experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and relationship-building skills with a client-first mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred (Microsoft Dynamics a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through

Pay Transparency
Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
The base pay range for this role is $75,000 – $100,000 per year.
