Position Summary
Biltmore Forest Country Club is seeking a Pool Supervisor to oversee daily food and beverage operations at the pool. This role is a working supervisor who supports service staff, maintains club standards, and helps deliver a consistently positive experience for members and guests. The Pool Supervisor serves as an extension of management and plays an active role in training, scheduling, service execution, and problem resolution. Your leadership will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps members and guests coming back.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily pool food and beverage service operations
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate upcoming events and expectations
  • Train and coach service staff on BFCC service standards and best practices
  • Coordinate service between kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Ensure proper setup, breakdown, cleanliness, and organization of pool service areas
  • Address member and guest concerns professionally and promptly
  • Support scheduling and ensure shifts are fully and appropriately staffed
  • Monitor service quality and provide feedback to staff and management
  • Ensure accurate billing and proper charges to member accounts
  • Enforce club policies, safety procedures, and appearance standards
  • Report incidents and participate in meetings as requested

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum two years of experience in a high-volume restaurant, banquet, or club environment
  • Fine dining or private club experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a service team
  • Excellent hospitality and guest service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Wine and culinary knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Work Schedule and Conditions

  • This is a seasonal position for the pool season, with the opportunity to transition into a year-round role based on performance and business needs.
  • Flexible availability required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Regular lifting, bending, reaching, and carrying up to 40 pounds
  • Indoor and outdoor work environment, including exposure to summer weather

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour
