Location: Indiana (with travel to Florida)

Compensation: K base + annual performance bonus

About the Role

Are you an experienced Design Engineer looking for a step up? Or perhaps you are in a leadership role but are looking for a change in culture or challenges?

We're looking for a technical leader and mentor for an HVAC and energy services group in the Indianapolis area. This position would lead the Support Engineering team — a group responsible for HVAC system design, equipment selection, and operational coordination. This team supports Engineers designing commercial HVAC projects across Indiana, Florida, Ohio, and beyond. You'll play a crucial role in developing the engineering team's technical skillsets and ensuring project accuracy, while also overseeing all back-end technical activities, from take-offs to shipping coordination.

What We're Looking For

• Solid understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and system design (equipment selection, pricing, submittals, and providing technical product knowledge)
• 8-10 years of experience with an equipment manufacturer, engineering firm, or contractor
• Previous engineering team leadership or management experience
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to travel quarterly and work on-site with some flexibility
• Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
