Summary Statement
The Assistant General Manager, Fuhu, supports all venue operations, including financial performance, sales growth, and team leadership. They ensure the venue consistently meets company standards for service, guest experience, atmosphere, and cleanliness. The Assistant General Manager oversees daily operations, leads assigned departments, manages staffing needs, and drives communication across teams. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and resolving guest concerns. The Assistant General Manager also maintains reporting, supports sales goals, and ensures the venue remains clean, efficient, and aligns with brand expectations.

Primary Job Duties:
Includes but is not limited to:

  • Maintain floor presence, atmosphere control, and respond to guest concerns with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Enforce service standards, policies, health/safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Oversee hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management for all team members.
  • Monitor sales, expenses, inventory, and cost controls; approve purchase orders and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in budgeting, P&L management, forecasting, and timely reporting of variances.
  • Ensure exceptional food & beverage quality, guest experience, cleanliness, and operational consistency.
  • Maintain communication with the Executive and General Manager teams regarding all major venue updates.
  • Ensure proper inventory rotation, monthly reconciliations, equipment maintenance, and product receiving standards.
  • Support marketing efforts, PR initiatives, promotional plans, and venue branding; stay aware of market trends.
  • Collaborate with Sales to execute private events, banquets, and catering successfully.
  • Control cash handling, complete required documentation, and maintain compliance with all company/agency regulations.
  • Maintain venue cleanliness, par levels, opening/closing procedures, and SNHD-compliant sanitation standards.
  • Support talent/production operations and ensure guest safety, including monitoring intoxication levels.
  • Participate in promotional activities, modeling programs, media content, and maintain required social media presence.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operation tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Includes but is not limited to:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Employ with safe alcohol service, sanitation and safety protocol.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer and mixed cocktails.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of POS systems (ex: Micros, UrVenue, etc.).
  • Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education And Experience

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years of experience within a high-volume restaurant, entertainment venue operations or a directly related operational area/field.
  • At least three years of directly related operational management experience at a similar leadership level.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain the following:

  • Alcohol Awareness Card

  • Food Handler Card
  • Non-Gaming Card
