SummaryThe MPRB is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support the Asset Management Department in daily office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent time management abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position will work 30-35 hours per week.

- Effectively assists in the day-to-day operations of the department(s) and provides administrative support to the department leadership.
- Performs a variety of administrative support functions specific to a department(s) including, but not limited to, preparing, editing and distributing correspondence, reports, forms and documents; answering and re-directing inquiries and correspondence; scheduling meetings; providing telephone responses; filing and copying.
- Work with managers to monitor contracts, keep specifications updated, track balances and monitor service area budgets. Works with MPRB and City of Minneapolis Procurement process for bids, new contracts, and other finance items-this may include resolutions, gathering multiple bids.
- Participate in a variety of administrative tasks, including budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, ordering supplies, processing requisitions, processing payroll and accounts payable.
