Duties:

  • Provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or healthcare facilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Assist with medication reminders and administration
  • Document patient care activities and observations in medical records
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent training
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families
