Certified Nursing Assistant

Position Summary:

Excell is seeking dependable, compassionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNA / CHHA) to provide essential personal care and supportive services to our clients. This role requires individuals who are dependable, attentive, and committed to delivering high-quality care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supportive Household Services
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, etc., as outlined in the written care plan.
• Prepare nutritious meals, including those requiring medically prescribed diets.
• Follow care plan goals and tasks; accurately document observations and activities.
• Client Monitoring
• Observe and report changes in a client's physical, mental, or social condition to supervisors and care team.
• Direct Personal Care
• Assist clients with daily personal care activities according to the service plan.
• Professional Conduct
• Deliver care with minimal or no complaints from clients or families.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in agency activities.

Performance Expectations:

• Dependability: Arrives and departs on time; uses scheduled leave according to agency policies.
• Adaptability: Organizes and prioritizes work effectively; adapts to changing tasks and situations.
• Teamwork & Initiative: Shows diligence and collaborates effectively with colleagues.
• Customer Service: Upholds Excell's standards in client interactions; maintains a professional appearance and demeanor. Strives to prevent and resolve client concerns. Adheres to the agency's dress code.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a home care setting.
• Clear communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must have reliable telephone access and dependable transportation.

Experience:

• Preferred: Prior experience as a CNA.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform tasks involving standing, walking, sitting, twisting, climbing, bending, reaching, and driving.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
