Finish Trim Carpenter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Trim Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing interior and exterior trim components, ensuring precise craftsmanship and a polished final appearance. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality residential, commercial, or restoration projects, transforming spaces with expert attention to detail. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install interior and exterior trim such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trims, and custom millwork with accuracy and finesse
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine specifications for trim installation and finishing details
• Use hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., nail guns, drills) safely and efficiently to complete tasks
• Prepare surfaces by caulking, filling gaps with putty or spackle, sanding rough edges, and ensuring a smooth finish before installation
• Drywall and painting on interior of homes brining the home to a finished product
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety standards on construction sites
• Assist in other carpentry tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, siding application, or minor remodeling as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in trim carpentry with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., nail guns, saws) safely and effectively
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material fabrication techniques
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation
• Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
• Familiarity with related skills such as framing carpentry, drywall finishing, plastering, cabinetry installation, metal stud framing or roofing is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
