Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading shipments.
• Perform picking and packing tasks efficiently to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all materials are properly documented and stored.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in training sessions for new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
• Experience operating heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and order pickers is preferred.
• Knowledge of packaging techniques and materials handling best practices is required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed throughout the shift.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with basic equipment maintenance preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for effective stocking and order fulfillment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
