Engineer

We are seeking a
senior engineering leader
with experience overseeing the
full lifecycle of complex, mission-critical naval systems
, from
design and acquisition through sustainment and modernization
. This role provides technical leadership, engineering oversight, and program integration across ship and ship-system portfolios in support of U.S. Navy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level engineering leadership for naval platforms and ship systems throughout their lifecycle
• Oversee systems engineering, integration, and technical governance for complex maritime systems
• Support acquisition activities including
  production quality management, manufacturing, engineering, test & evaluation, and program management
• Coordinate across engineering, logistics, operations, and contracting stakeholders
• Manage technical risk, cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs
• Guide modernization, sustainment, and lifecycle extension efforts for fleet assets

Required Qualifications

• Minimum
  5 years of professional experience
  in one or more of the following disciplines:
• Naval Engineering
• Naval Architecture
• Systems Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Nuclear Engineering
• Other relevant engineering fields
• Experience with
  ships and/or ship systems
  , even if not formally titled as an engineering role
• Demonstrated experience working with
  complex, mission-critical systems
• Ability to operate in a highly technical, regulated, and mission-focused environment

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in
  DoD or Navy acquisition environments
• Background in
  production, manufacturing, quality management, test & evaluation, or program management
• Familiarity with naval shipyards, warfare centers, PEOs, or systems commands
• Prior leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams
