Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations at our hospitality property. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hotel management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of hospitality to create a welcoming environment for all guests. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest relations and team communication.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
- Oversee guest services to ensure a memorable experience, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage hotel revenue through effective pricing strategies and revenue management techniques
- Lead human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to meet financial goals
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies
- Handle night audit procedures and oversee the front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette
- Maintain high standards of guest relations by fostering a hospitable environment in the resort setting
- Implement marketing strategies to promote hotel amenities and services
- Monitor cleanliness, safety, and overall hotel appearance to uphold brand standards
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a hospitality or hotel management setting
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Proficiency in hospitality management software and multi-line phone systems
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and optimize revenue streams
- Knowledge of human resources practices within the hospitality industry
- Multilingual or bilingual communication skills preferred to serve diverse guests
- Experience with night audit procedures and front desk operations
- Familiarity with resort management, guest relations, and hospitality standards
- Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions
