Location: Norristown, PA | Pay: $66,000–$74,000/year | Full-Time

Position Summary:
We're hiring a Level 2 Business Development Representative to deepen ODMF's presence in key industries and expand relationships with companies that rely on precision 2D sheet metal components.
This mid-level role is ideal for someone confident with outreach who can navigate technical conversations, understand prospect needs, and build momentum within target verticals. You'll be responsible for driving qualified interest and securing meaningful introductions for leadership and engineering.
You still won't quote jobs or manage accounts, but your role carries more autonomy, industry fluency, and strategic responsibility than Level 1.
What You'll Do:
- Identify, engage, and cultivate prospects within aerospace, defense, industrial manufacturing, medical/pharma, automotive, and related sectors
- Build targeted prospect lists and maintain a consistent outreach rhythm
- Lead higher-level conversations with engineers, buyers, and operational leaders to understand part requirements and fit
- Clearly communicate ODMF's capabilities, strengths, and ideal project types
- Arrange discovery calls, facility introductions, and capability discussions with ODMF leadership
- Track activity, document conversations, and provide well-structured handoffs for internal evaluation
- Develop insight into industry trends, customer challenges, and partnership opportunities to help sharpen BD strategy
What You Need:
- 2–4 years of experience in B2B customer outreach, or business development
- Strong communication skills—professional, direct, and confident
- Ability to navigate technical conversations and ask the right questions
- Solid organizational habits and consistent follow-through
- A proactive, self-directed work style—you move without waiting for instructions
- Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Valid driver's license and insurability
Compensation & Benefits:
- $66,000–$74,000/year based on experience
- Incentive Potential: Opportunity-based bonuses tied to qualified introductions

Working Conditions:
